  • Deposit: an amount paid in advance to secure a booking.
  • Venue: The Philharmonic Cardiff premises and related facilities.

You must use the website lawfully; you must not misuse the website by introducing viruses, hacking, or any other malicious activity. To secure certain bookings (especially during peak times, special events, or for private hire) a deposit may be required. Deposit amounts, payment deadlines, and cancellation rules will be clearly communicated at the time of booking. If you cancel a booking, you must give the notice period required in the booking terms to receive a full or partial refund (if applicable). Cancellations after that time may result in forfeiture of deposit or full payment.

Special offers, packages (e.g. bottomless brunch, event nights, private hire deals) are subject to specific terms. These terms are provided at the time of booking or promotion. We reserve the right to modify or withdraw any special offer at any time without notice.

6. Age & Identification

You must be of legal drinking age (18+ in the UK) to consume alcohol. Valid ID may be required. We operate a Challenge 25 policy; if you look under 25, we may ask for age verification. Under-18s are welcome in the venue only until the times specified in our booking or opening hours policies.

7. Behaviour & Venue Policies

We expect guests to behave in a respectful and responsible manner. Disruptive, abusive, unsafe, or unlawful behaviour may result in refusal of service or removal from the venue without refund. We reserve the right to refuse entry or service, particularly in cases of intoxication, inappropriate behaviour, or failure to comply with venue rules or staff instructions.

8. Liability & Disclaimers

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for loss, damage, or inconvenience arising from your use of the website, bookings, or attendance, except where we have been negligent. We are not responsible for any personal property you bring to the venue. Allergens: we do our best to manage allergens, but cannot guarantee any dish is completely free of allergens due to the nature of our kitchen and food preparation. You should inform us of any food allergies in advance.
